Press Conference on iPad application “Yueju Accomp”
“Yueju Accomp” is developed by Professor Leung Bo-wah, Director of the Research Centre for Transmission of Cantonese Opera, EdUHK, and Dr. Leung Chi-hin of the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts, EdUHK. It is the first application on Yueju accompaniment that has been patented in Hong Kong by the Intellectual Property Department, and is supported by the EdUHK iTech Fund. The application combines traditional Cantonese operatic music with modern technology, in order to provide the public with a user-friendly application to experience the accompaniment of Cantonese operatic music.
RCTCO is holding a press conference for the application. The features, educational purposes, and effectiveness, as well as a demonstration of the app, will be presented. Details are as follows:
