Advancing Chinese Traditional Culture in Greater Bay Area Schools - Symposium for Cantonese Opera Teaching (HK) 2025
Organized by Xiqu and Intangible Cultural Heritage Centre, EdUHK and co-organized by Xiqu Centre, the West Kowloon Cultural District, purpose of the "Advancing Chinese Traditional Culture in Greater Bay Area Schools - Symposium for Cantonese Opera Teaching 2025" is to explore issues related to school-based education in Cantonese opera, promote Cantonese opera education in primary and secondary schools within the Greater Bay Area, and enhance students' understanding and interest in Cantonese opera. It is also expected to facilitate academic, educational, and cultural exchanges within the Greater Bay Area, encourage mutual learning among teachers, strengthen close cooperation among different regions, and promote the inheritance and development of Cantonese opera.
